Main duty for ICT Department, SJKC Kota Emerald includes:
1. Maintain school computers, printers, network, and all related computer equipment.
2. Update and report for Internet disruption and downtime.
3. Planning for widening school internet accessibility.
4. Managing assets for school ICT equipment.
5. Organising teacher's professional development course related to ICT.
6. Increase the awareness of handling school ICT equipment.
7. Promote current Government's objectives in realising ICT-literate society.
8. Manage and sustain the school 'site' in Frog VLE.
9. Promote the use of technology as part of the teaching and learning tools.
10. Promote the use of virtual learning environment (VLE)
11. Assist of STEM(science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education implementation in school.
12. Maintain the use of Eco-smart classroom equipment.
